Johnson began her career as a proofreader at a boating newspaper. She later was a staff writer for the Daily Commerce, a business and real estate daily newspaper in downtown Los Angeles. She began writing about celebrities for a weekly actor’s magazine called Drama-Logue in the nineties. That led to work in entertainment public relations, and eventually, a staff position at the celebrity weekly, Star Magazine.
Over the years as a correspondent, columnist, contributor and freelance celebrity reporter, she’s interviewed and written about many daytime, primetime and movie actors.
